Our Commitment to User Privacy:

This Privacy Policy describes how Paddle Canada Inc. (collectively “Paddle”, “we”, “us”, “our”) protects and manages your personal data, including:

  • What data we collect when you use or engage with the Paddle application (“Platform”);

  • How we manage data from the beginning of your engagement;

  • The choices you have regarding how your data is managed.

We Limit Use of Your Personal Data:

  • To providing, maintaining and improving our services;

  • To communicating with you about new and existing information;

  • To protect the legal rights of our users while complying with all applicable privacy laws

If you do not agree with this Policy, please speak to your HR team to learn more. Do not use our products and services or provide Paddle with your personal data in the meantime.

We Collect and Use Data:

Data such as your current role is pulled in from your company’s HR information systems and shared with us by your HR team.

Your profile can be seen by others in the organization, but you have full control over the past career details and skill sets displayed. You can edit & delete this data at any time.

Paddle maintains but does not own employee data. All users are able to request that their account be deleted. When this request is made, we eliminate all identifiable data associated with the individual from the Platform and authorized third parties within one week of receipt. 

Paddle may obtain information from industry partners and other sources, including publicly available sources. We require these sources to comply with applicable laws with regard to collecting and transferring data to Paddle.

Paddle may use your personal data (anonymized) to develop and manage our products, services, customer care, sales and marketing.

Paddle may share your personal data with authorized third parties who process personal data for us for the purposes described in this Policy. This may include, for example, billing, providing services including customer service, managing and analyzing consumer data, conducting research and managing marketing and other such campaigns. These third parties are not permitted to use your personal data for any other purpose.

Choices:

  • Personal Data: You can change or correct data about yourself through your Paddle account at any time. You can also deactivate your account from within the application settings if you no longer wish to use the service. All data will be removed from our systems within one week of an account deactivation.

  • Cookies: Paddle collects cookies in order to authenticate your account and collect usage analytics to help us improve the platform for everyone. By continuing to use the platform, you are consenting to the collection of these cookies. You can set your browser to reject cookies but our Services may not function properly in this setting.

Security:

We take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical and physical safeguards to help protect your personal data from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

We maintain strict security standards and procedures with a view to preventing unauthorized access to your data by anyone, including our staff. We use leading technologies such as (but not limited to) data encryption, firewalls and server authentication to protect the security of your data. Our staff and third parties, whenever we hire them to provide support services, are required to observe our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.

Paddle may, from time to time, change this Policy or change, modify or withdraw access to this site at any time with or without notice.
